At Hightest Retrievers, we require all dogs to be positively identified with microchips.  This eliminates the need for collars that can become snagged and endanger the dog.  Our customers like the assurance that their dog is positively identified during his stay with us.  The dog's chip number is recorded in our records and is marked on their gate card.  All dogs are scanned when they leave the kennel.  Besides the convenience at the kennel, the dogs can be identiifed if they become lost or separated from their owners.  We also microchip all of the puppies we sell.  Our customers are happy that we offer this service and I feel that Microchip ID and AVID chips give us a professional edge as a breeding and training kennel.  Debra Folsom   www.Hightest.com
